Experiencing homelessness as a teenager in New York City makes Liz Murray’s journey to Harvard one that defies all odds. Even as she navigated the challenges of homelessness, she knew that an education would unlock a future filled with limitless possibility. When her book was adapted into the Emmy-nominated film, “Homeless to Harvard”, Liz became a speaker and advocate, earning her an appearance on The Oprah Winfrey Show. We are thrilled to welcome Liz to Evening of Miracles and hear firsthand her remarkable account of how her unwavering pursuit of educational opportunities changed the trajectory of her life.
